EyeVoices: Communication that begins with a blink
We build a simple, open and cost-effective solution so that people with severe motor impairments can speak independently again - without expensive specialized hardware.
Why EyeVoices?
Communication is a fundamental right. EyeVoices emerged from direct exchange with those affected and care teams - with the goal of creating an everyday, fair and openly expandable alternative.
The Problem
People with ALS, spinal cord injuries or after strokes often can no longer speak. Existing assistive devices are expensive, complicated and unreliable.
The Solution
EyeVoices enables communication through blinking alone. Simple, affordable and with minimal hardware.
What EyeVoices specifically offers
Focus on everyday usability: minimal hardware, clear operation, robust recognition - and a system that learns with users.
Eye-Only Interface
Communication through blinking alone. Intentional blinks are precisely detected - calibratable and fault-tolerant.
Adaptive Speech Synthesis
Natural-sounding TTS voices, optionally personalized. Quick access to common sentences & phrases.
Accessible Design
Large target areas, high contrast, offline mode and clear feedback. Also works with affordable cameras.
